Just a report about the illnesses in the area-UT has 100 students that are ill with the flu-they have sent some samples to see if it is swine flu. They are telling students not to come to the clinic for flu symptoms-to go home or stay in their dorm-unless they are dehydrated or vomiting-in which case they are asking students to visit the clinic.
We have had two students go home this week with severe gastroenteritis. We are taking precautions-having student wash their hands regularly, use hand-sanitizer, cleaning surfaces regularly to prevent the spread.
We are still planning on Tremont this weekend-looks like we might have some rain-but everyone seems pretty excited anyway! Hopefully I will get some pictures that I can post on the blog!!! Look out salamanders-we are coming to monitor you!!!!
