HOUSES
In house news, the Olympics are over and Cannon House the overall winner, followed by Tesla, Cannon, and von Neumann. As soon as I can get my video transferred, I will try to post the clips of the "cheer-off" competition.
The next house competition will be designing a house flag. Flags will be judged on creativity, clear theme, clean and organized, clear connection to your scientist, and the correct color.
Running until the end of Sept will be a photo scavenger hunt that will include a list of really interesting items and require students to create a power point presentation of their results.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
SGA Elections were held for cottage reps and officers: Those elected were: President-Ashely Coke, Senior Vice-President-Lily Gu, Junior VP-Cameron Wainwright, Secretary-Ryan Sahni, Activities Director-Elizabeth Ashby, TGA Historian-Elizabeth Conner, Cottage Reps: 311-Deborah Higdon, 310-Will Hubbs, 313-Matt Stanifer, 314-Edie Carpenter.
Dashis We have appointed our first group of "dashis" (ambassadors): Katelyn Bunch, Kaysie Jennings, Keerthighaan Kanagasegar, and Cody Vaughn.
I saw signs for a new club-the cooking club (they have promised that I can be a judge for competitions-yum!!!) and a big water balloon fight/water slide fun for Wed evening...
