Don't have long to blog-in between meetings-had a really great meeting with the entire faculty-so we are all on the same page about everything. Everyone here is getting really anxious and excited about this weekend! We can't wait for you all to get here!!! We have a lot of meetings going on this week-so if we are slow responding to phone messages and/or emails-please understand.
Juniors-Monday you will head to UT for a tour of campus, to get your ID made, and to get an introduction to the library (then back to the cottages for the TGA Olympics)
Seniors-You are getting right to work Monday-and we are having a meeting at 2:00 to discuss a few things (and I believe one of your classmates has something for that agenda as well, right Keerthighaan?)
Again-we are all very excited for this school year-can't wait to see you on Saturday!!!

- Tennessee Governor's Academy
- TGA opened in 2007. Governor Phil Bredesen, based on his laboratory experiences that led to his completing a degree in physics, wanted TN high school students to have a similar opportunity. With a partnership with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, students at TGA get an advanced math and science education with a hands on scientific research component.
