Just a head's up on a few upcoming events at TGA. The seniors will be participating at a re-enactment at Blount Mansion this Friday, Sept 11 from 11:30-1:30. For more information go to: http://www.cityofknoxville.org/Press_Releases/Content/2009/0901.asp

On Sept 26, TGA will be holding an open house for prospective students. This is something new we are doing at TGA this year to let people learn more about us. The TGA dashis, Katelyn, Kaysie, Keerthighaan and Cody will be helping us with that meeting, which will take place from 9-12:00 that morning.

We are gearing up for the start of college recruiting season with representatives from a myriad of colleges scheduled to meet interested students over the next 6 weeks or so.

This month's module topic is all about health. Students will get some training on the different exercise equipment offered at T-Recs, as well as lessons on the physiology of exercise, nutrition, and stress-management.

Parents of seniors-please have your students keep up with their home school regarding ordering graduation announcements, cap and gown (should students choose to participate in their home school graduation). Last year, cap and gown and announcement orders from UT came around Feb, but I know the high schools are in the fall.
