It was nice seeing the junior parents again this weekend at our open house. The students did an excellent job in presenting what we have been doing at TGA this fall. I may make them do the presentation again and video it to send to the Governor...it would be the best advertisement possible of what we are capable of doing!!!

After the test, juniors will sit down to a pasta dinner cooked by yours truly. (Last week, with TSD on fall break, several staff members fixed lunch for the students-Syconda fixed lunch Monday, Mr. Mathews and Mitchell on Tuesday, Dr. Rutenberg on Wednesday, and Ms. Tai and Dr. Wang on Thursday)
Also on Wednesday evening, our dinner with a mathematician series has guest #2, Dr. Steve Wise.
Thursday evening many of the students will be making a trip to the haunted corn maze!
Friday is a homegoing day-coming next week: a trip to see the Vols play Memphis for UT's homecoming.
Other happenings-This Thursday a small delegation from the state of Colorado will be visiting to see how we do things at TGA. Colorado is interested in starting their own Academy. Also, Dr. Long and I will be meeting with members of the UT President's office. I will pass on information from that meeting Friday.
That's all for now!
